Noetic Science Experiments

The Web Bot Project

Sounds like straight out of the Lost Symbol. The Collective Counscious measured by searches and crawles.

The Web Bot is claimed to have predicted several events prior to them occurring, most notably the September 11 attacks and the 2003 Northeastern United States blackout. However, many believe the predictions are vague and, at best, pseudoscientific.

Some of its predictions:

  • September 11 attacks – In June 2001 Web Bot predicted that a catastrophic event would occur within the next 60–90 days.
  • American Airlines Flight 587
  • Space Shuttle Columbia disaster
  • Northeast Blackout of 2003
  • 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake
  • Hurricane Katrina and its devastation
  • Dick Cheney hunting incident

Future Predictions:

Major catastrophe in 2012 – The Web Bot has gained most of its notoriety for contributing to the 2012 phenomenon by predicting that a cataclysm will devastate the planet in the year 2012, possibly a reversing of Earth’s magnetic poles or a small series of nuclear attacks leading up to a major attack on this day. The prediction does not necessarily call for a complete end of the world.

The Web Bot Project

The Million Dollar Experiment

This noetic science experiment is based on the intention-manifestation model of reality, where the goal is to generate $1 million of additional wealth for each person who chooses to participate.

The Million Dollar Experiment is open for everyone to join.(At the moment they don’t seem to accept any new participants)

The New Wealth Experience

The New Wealth Experience is an international virtual conference the month of October 2009 featuring the world top thought leaders.  Their purpose is to awaken millions to connect with the direction of a higher purpose and conscious creation. Check out the Global Kindness Project .

The Intention Experiment

The Intention Experiment is a series of scientifically controlled, web-based experiments testing the power of intention to change the physical world.Thousands of volunteers from 30 countries around the world have participated in Intention Experiments thus far.

The Harvard Prayer Experiment

The study: With support from the Templeton Foundation, cardiologist Herbert Benson and his colleagues randomly assigned 1802 cardiac bypass patients to one of three conditions:

those told they may or may not be prayed for (and who weren’t)
those told they may or may not be prayed for (and who were)
those told they would be prayed for (and who were)
Templeton Foundation synopsis:

“The Largest Study of Third-Party Remote Intercessory Prayer Suggests Prayer Not Effective in Reducing Complications Following Heart Surgery”

Why prayer experiments of that scale do not work:

Given that 95 percent of Americans express belief in God, all patients undergoing cardiac bypass surgery will already be receiving prayer—by spouses, children, siblings, friends, colleagues, and fellow believers and/or congregants, if not by themselves. Are these fervent prayers a mere “noise factor” above which the signal of additional prayers may rouse God? Does God follow a dose-response curve—more prayers, more response? Does God count votes? Are the pleading, earnest prayers of patients and those who love them not sufficiently persuasive (if God needs to be informed or persuaded of our needs)? Are the distant prayers of strangers participating in an experiment also needed?

Prayer only works if the “sole” is not ready to go. our Mind, body and sole have a purpose of experience here, to actually feel sensation via the body, to understand those feelings in the mind and with our soles. this body simply allows our sole to actually feel everything at a much greater level. and give us a true understanding of what it is to walk the path we all walk. the sole has the final word, when it is done no prayer in the world will work to keep it here. when prayer works our sole is simply feeling the energy in multiple ways put out in the form of prayer thus giving the sole the swing vote if you will to stay. but if it is truly tired and desires to be at one again it will go.
Cranio Sacral therapy works on a level with the bodies energy to heal by touch. some say and I believe this energy is the sole, and let me tell you it remembers everything. if it feels safe it will tell all. great healing takes place. being a practitioner of this technique has given me a stronger base in my understanding of the sole and our full connection to God. we are all truly God.

uuurmm..im jus in grd 11..but wht bout d energy conservation low………if thoughts have mass…then its totally against the law..right..like energy can neither be created or destoryed………..

energy can be created out of nothing via heisenburgs uncertancy principle yo could think of thought as a virtual particle which could then have a mass through e=mc² so it could be possible however scientific proof for this theorey seems a bit sketchy

to elliot, a corollary of heisenberg’s uncertainty principle is indeed the energy-time principle, ie. delta E delta t > hbar/2. this does not mean energy is created from nothing, it doesn’t violate energy conservation. an example of apparent creation is hawking radiation (radiation from particle-antiparticle pairs near event horizons, however conservation law still applies, which ie. an increase of the entropy of the black hole. the only way i could see this theory working would be that the energy created in “thought-mass” would be in some way proportional to the energy expended in the chemo-electrical synapse activity required to form the thought, and the interation of that activity to some unknown “thought-field” which we haven’t discovered. even so, thoughts are linguistic representations of our brain activities, and subsequent categorisations would have to be based on some universal scale, true for everyone. i am not sure these effects, if true, could be explained by conventional physics.

The concepts addressed here are by far some of the most fascinating in any field of science in my opinion. If what is offered and proven can be accomplished, I don’t understand why the Noetic field hasn’t been promoted through public or political media. If all thoughts were to unify and concentrate on a single intent, anything can be accomplished! The full potential of the human mind and body has yet to be explored physically and spiritually, but the studies going on now are some of the most groundbreaking that I have ever bear witness to.

is there any power who is above all the power that are exist on our earth?that power have some name also because without name we can not get anyone, and according to indian holy books like vedas the name of god does not contain any letter from a to z.a name without letter.it is just the feeling and imagination of that almighty.

    Hi there,
this is a comment to Web Bot article.
Two thingh start to bother me.
    1. If we agree that our thouhts have power, why pople feed themselves and others with 2012 disaster story? The more people believe in this the more possible it becomes and the Web Bot will be right.
    2. Why on sites like this (where pople aware of their power gather) nobody has offered an antidote. For example simple solution like making ourselves immune to this hysteria or convincing our frends to spot posting messages about 2012 on facebook and twitter.
The more of us will think about 2012 as normal year in our short history the less possible the disaster will be and Web Bot will not be so sure about the cataclysm.
I myself prefere to think about 2012 as a year of change of human thinking, a revelation. Maybe to some minds this will be a disaster.
Let’s think different! Let’s THINK 2012 will be a great year to humanity!
    What say you?

    Jacob,
I agree with you… we should ALL CONCENTRATE on Peace, love & harmony… for 2012 and beyond. Thoughts DO have power… if the masses are all thinking of a wonderful, peaceful life… then it HAS to come forth.

    Visualize it!!!

The “predictions” by this web bot seem rather vague at best. “A catasrophic event within 60-90 days”, so if it hadn’t been wtc they would find any other event and make the same claim.

Immagination defenetly has power(according to Noetics-mass)Its nothing but the power of meditation and Yoga, when combined will surely make the immagination come true.If it’s proved that single mind when tuned at a idea (meditating)has some power its also possible that multiple minds when tuned at the same idea would defenetly have power to make the idea come true.

Eventually, it all comes down to Power of Thought. Hopeless Hope will never work. Only a strong mental appeal can bring about physical changes in the material world. After all, that’s why we are all materialistically personified spirits. By meditating, we can come to know what we want firstly, from this universe. We calm down our dynamic mind, and allow it to focus thoughts in one direction. That is the Power of Thought. It’s not any random thought, insecure feeling, but a very strong intuition. That’s how co-incidence differs from Real Power of Thought.

well, well, well ,are we not falling into same trap again i.e. justifying by words cos anything justified by words has polarity ie sides. human mind is based to believe in logic, yes or no, good or bad. well truth is to empty the mind, leave logic, and then only will you really defy logic and enter into realms of noetic understanding.

For those interested in Noetics, I’d like to call to your attention Robert Heinlan’s “Stranger in a strange land”. I feel it shows the potential for noetics in the future, baring in mind that Heinlan wrote the book years before noetics was classed as a science it is quite prophetic in it’s message: – “We are all our own God”. whether Heinlan studied the esoteic texts or wrote it as a study in pure sci-fi, I find it quite interesting to see that his sci-fi has the potential to become sfi-fact much in the same way that many of Arthur C. Clark’s ideas on robotics have followed the very same path… feel free to discuss :)

anyhow,I stick with Jacob’s idea.If thoughts do have powers to change the physical world, then we might as well hope for the best because, if noetics is proven right , this could change the world

noetics condidricts itself. if mass thought has power, and large number of people believe that noetics is a false science, then it should be.but the again if that is so noetics will be proven true.i know its confussing but think about it!
